the comparison i give is how long do you want to wait and how much do you want pay ? i will ALWAYS pay more to have it here right away. not well we will get it eventually. that simply isn't good enough for me..... i've had excellent experiences with all of vendors. i haven't used rx7trix yet personally but when the time comes i'm sure he will be fine

I think that says it all: Jason is not evil or anything, just kind of indifferent. I wouldn't turn anyone away from him unless they were in a real hurry to get their stuff (and I guess most people are).

I was not aware that the HKS dp was an easier install. I was scared off by the different design. I know there's been much debate on whether it's beneficial or not, but I saw no reason why that design should be better (or why it should be worse).

The difference in the HKS design is due to the lack of clearance for the DP, on the RHD models. The "flat spot" in the HKS DP is there to clear the steering shaft, and that's it. The HKS is specifically beneficial to RHD owners, as a constant-diameter pipe would not fit. What I haven't heard is if it (negatively) affects performance (when to compared to M2 style pipes) because of it's design.I'm not sure anyone even cares, as the difference could be so absolutely minimal. Although people are scared by the different appearance of the HKS design, I can assure you that to the JDM, this piece is perfectly normal.

Hehe, I've read that the flat-spot is there to "promote laminar flow" . I personally think that's a bit far-fetched. The RHD theory is much more reasonable (Occam's razor and all that).
