As the topic says what will i need to do to get my car to run in the mid to high 11's in the 1/4mi using the stock twins, sequential or non sequential but still stock ones..

what mods will i have to do to my motor and bolt on parts to get my car there using the 13b rew motor???

this is more of a wish list for me so i can pass it on to the lil woman in my life :-) she says she wants to get me something nice for my car..

my stuff i already have but may be selling but who knows are.

3" full stainless exhaust w no cat, mp, dp and cat back.

large smic system with greddy BOV

Apexi Power FC with commander

4 850cc inectors with 255 pump walbro

and i am rebuilding the stock motor here within the next month and i will prob be doing a nice street port on it.

act 6 puck clutch kit (not installed yet)

what other parts and stuff would you guys get or do to hit that 11 second zone.. i know its very possible but i need guidence to do so. im dumb in this stuff.. as for traction i will have adjustable shocks, stock coil springs, 275 40r17 drag radials BFG baby!!

meh i know this has been asked im sure but i cant find anything and im bored and i figured it be a good lil convo for all of us?

herb you really think i should do the nitrous thing?? ill have a new motor and if i do run nitrous i wont do no more than a 50 shot. im just worried about boost creep when i use nitrous with the twins bein ran in non sequential form. i dont want to accidentally blow a motor due to boost creep :-( got a solution or an idea??

Did you read your post about nitrous kit? If you, your brother, or your friends could tune it with nitrous, I saw go for it! Also, some people on this forum think its easy.

I personally wouldn't mess with nitrous.

Also, I dont know why you are concern with boost creep?? If your car is tune well, it shouldn't matter about boost creep... unless its completely off the map... thats when you have issues.

yah i see your point. I just dont want to blow another motor for doing something very stupid thats why i was like meh with nitrous, but if a good tune can make my car safe with just boost, and if i add a wet kit to add the extra fuel so the normal tune will tay in tact. and the nitrous will be a seperate lil deal and supply its own fuel i should be safe! however i never done this before and i just wanted to talk some more about this before I go all out and start blowing money!! hope ya understand!!

Couple of things to remember.. You could take advice from anyone on this forum.. but not sure how many of them are useful advice... including mine..

1. My advice is to try to meet someone in person and ask them to help you. ie, your brother or his friends who tuned rotary with nitrous. Seeing it and them explaining it to you would be the best way to learn than someone who could be complete BSing about their set up on this forum.. You have to see it in person!

2. Do your research here and on the RX7club about running 11s.. There are like hundreds of posts by newbs asking the same questions you are asking. Also search about what it takes to run 11s. What you are asking have been asked many many times... And I think you know and I know, you know what it takes

I personally don't think FDs as a drag racing car... But people do what ever they want to do... I'm here to give my opinions and try to help!! Just paying back to the community.. Hope later on, you would do the same!

I figure you were trying to just make convo-sation.. LOL!

I would make your own block off plates.. but if you want to get it looking good, you could either get it welded or buy a set from rotary vendors..

Definately port it!!!

And personally if it was me I would keep them sequential. IMO if you want real big power go single. You can get 350-400hp out of the sequential system. The twins are limited power wise by the flow of the manifold along with the massive heat they will build up and there is nothing you can do about that. I also don't like having to drive around at 4000rpms to build any boost worth talking about, but that is just me.
