ok once you got that done let me know as well as correct diemnsions for the new axles and all.
im going to have strange build the axles and driveshaft if they aren't too busy and they're really really close to me.
that nitrous driveshaft sounds like what i'd need but like i stated before im moving a hell've a lot of power through the car but also with VERY little weight (around 2500 lbs)

For anyone interested, a group buy on the '03+ Cobra cradle has been started on the other forum...

Just an update... we've already got five in the group buy, so the price is already down $50 for everyone. If you're interested, post in the thread or send me an e-mail at jimlab@earthlink.net and I'll add your name to the list.
Payments will be collected up front when the GB closes, and turnaround should be fairly quick on the fabrication end. Several have asked about powder coating, so I'll be looking into that as well at additional cost if anyone is interested.
Thanks!

I don't have access to a rear subframe without them, and wasn't willing to have mine cut off just so we could duplicate them.

Jim, since http://www.driveshaftshop.com already makes the heavy duty 03 Cobra axles, and the FD axles as well, wouldn't it be easier just to have them create the axle you need, rather than have to re-weld one of the axles? Using the Cobra's inner CV and the FD's outer CV and having the shaft cut to length, I think this might be an easier alternative since you already have all the measurements...

The welded axle was for length measurements only. The axle centershafts made by the Driveshaft Shop will be completely new axles with FD outer and Cobra inner splines. The reason I chose the Driveshaft Shop was precisely because they build both FD and Cobra axles already. Great minds think alike?
