can anyone find out who makes this for me ? i was told tochigi fuji and it was not manufactured by them. they told me it looked like a torsen unit. i am at wits end and all i want is to have this unit fixed ! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/dry.png
Hummmmm Someone doesnt want to fess up to the broken
part. Thats what it is... When I did ask RE, the guy knew right away that it was them. Also he said they dont sell it in the US. Thats all the info I got, you looking for the re-built kit if there is one? |
yeah i dunno. the whole situation just sucks. if i could speak japanese i would call re-amemiya myself! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/angry.png
Do you know for sure its made by RE-Amemiya? Or could someone have
just slapped the sticker on there? |
i emailed RE-A with pix i want to see if it actually is re-amemiya.......i'm 99% sure it is. it might be a REALLY old RE-A unit
Hummm unless you e-mail INUKAI, they wont respond.
None of them know shite for english. Can you send me a pic? |
wow, that one looks weird... Should be easy to identify....
I will pull out the guns... Thanks for the pics (FINALLY!!!) hehe |
hehe I will be the man if I find out hehe
well that thing sucks anyhow right? For your power application I mean..... You just want a refund right?
RE probably won't refound... won't warranty anything like that.
but i think if you spend big bucks they will probably fix it for you. damn... this sucks... |
i just want one that works ! whether repaired or new!

so i can have a spare. that diff wasn't cheap!
Thats the thing about Performace parts, even if you bought it from
Trust or HKS they wouldnt fix it or replace it for free. Performace cars are made for off-road only, thats where they got ya. Just like turbos and such too... Now if maybe RE-Amemiya put on a RE-Amemiya diff and you did your maintence threw them, Im sure they would. Just like with that RX7, if you changed the air filter with your warranty from Mazda, they probably wouldnt give your money back if the engine blew. Its messed up, but they got to do it or they would be BROKE. |
i understand but i own one of TWO re-amemiya LSD's in the US. its make them look bad. i should have bought a kaaz atleast they can fix it for $250 if it breaks. this is a special situation. i'll wait to see what they say https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
you should of went with kaaz or Cusco https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif

To lesson the shock on the drivetrain
You need to get a multi-disk clutch one where there is a bit of slippage of the line and tightens as you accelerate Knowing you Vosk you are dumping the clucth A safer technique is to let go of the clucth pedal as your standing at the lights where you almost feel the car start to creep forward then when the last yellow light appears release clutch and gun it works like a champ for me and I've yet to break anything Well could be I'm not pushing the RWHP you got at least for now https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png BTW what ever happend to your Black FC Vosk? |
He killed it.
Vosko, what rpm do you launch at and are you actually cutting good 60's or does your car just break before the 60???

You don't feather a clutch like his
The LSD RE Amemiya sells right now is the clutch type and they do sell the rebuild kit for it. If yours is the torsen type, that will be very weird.
Chuck Huang |

mine is the one off their website. it can't be torsen

judging by the other pic he pasted that looked like it was from some japanese web site, he has the 'super racing LSD' .... so you seem to be right on the money with his rebuild kit, lucky vosko.
however, I don't think the clutches are what he needs, I could be wrong. |
The RE Ameimia diff is a Kazz or a Cusco.. I can't remember which.. They just buy a diff and put their name on it like they do the clutch etc...
it is not a kaaz. it is not a tochigi fuji ? maybe it is a cusco ?
do you have it out and can you get a pic of it??
I asked RE-A and they said its tochigi fuji TWICE, maybe
it depends how old it is and what style it is.... I asked about the REBUILD kit includes, but we are calling again now to see. He didnt call back yesterday. So I will see soon if the gears are included |
Ok here is the rest of the news VOSKO
Its just the disks not the gears its $210 shipped |
thank you very much for the help everyone. when i take it down. i will have judge ito dissasemble it and we wil go from there https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
