Hi all,

Did a search...couldn't find anything. I recall seeing something about this sometime back, however, I do not recall if it was on this forum or another....



I'm replacing my Greddy PE with the RB dual tip. It appears a hanger is missing. Was there supposed to of been a hanger I should of retained from the OEM muffler to the RB one? I no longer have the OEM unit as I replaced it over 5 years ago.



Thoughts, suggestions?

you are 100% correct khris posted about that a long time ago. you must have taken it off with the OEM muffler and not reinstalled it

 

you have to reuse one of the oem bolt on hangers for the rb, most of the japanese mufflers replace it though

read that entire post..my mind was 95% made up to get the RB, but backfiring and soot are normal? Is the backfiring the kind that will send pedestrians diving for the pavement? And will i need to clean soot off my bumper after every drive?
