have come across a profec b for damn near free in perfect condition....BWAHAHAHA. anyway is anyone running with one of these, and can tell me about the install?

 

um you need to send it to me, and then you put it in between the wastegate and boost source

no i think i'm going to keep it. i was just wondering for the future. i am 99.9% stock right now i'm just planning ahead. propably won't install until the new downpipe, radiator and exhaust are in. should i even bother with it though? i am going to get a PFC by the end of the year probably.

Actually the one page instruction manual is near useless but I will dig it up and and scan it in for ya.

 

sweet. so would uping boost to like 12 be fine with an almost stock config?

 

Umm not sure on FD, are you running stock turbos?

 

if you have a pfc then you dont need the profec, the pfc can control the boost really well

yeah everything is stock right now besides my BOV.....sounds so great . but i don't have a PFC right now, so would setting up the profec be fine for now...i can always just sell it.

 

I'll take it if you ever sell it. I used to use one two years ago. I wish I still had it.

 

so does anyone know about running 12lbs of boost with stock exhaust? and if i do decide to sell it i'll PM you Fd3BOOST.
