Umm, I just undid the centre bolt with my rattle gun, wobbled the pulley with my hands and off it came!

oh simple ge one of those rubber wrenches advired on tv as be able to loosen anything. the kinf that have a big rubber loop that you tigthen around what you want. you can get one from sear for anout 20 or if you have a harbor firght near by for $6. use that and a regular wrench and use wd-40 ot try to make it easier when you try it the first time

If any one has a broken pulley Garfinkle will buy them to get the metal center hub . His son makes custom aluminum pulleys and presses in the hub . Call 615-893-4469, and buy a torque brace if you want one .

damm if i would've known before. i couldve saved my p/s pulley! another really cheap way to get the pump off is get drunk and hit it with a hammer untill the pulley breaks off. kinda sucks if you plan on reusing it...

I tried the strap wrench and can't get it to hold the pulley. I can probably borrow a compressor, but it is probably 100-125 psi max. Do you think that will be enough? I guess I just need to get a case and a hammer.
