is it possible for oil to leak from where the sparkplugs are screwed in?

no, but the oil might be coming from the oil filter if it's not tight enough or the oil cooler lines washer is leaking.

Power steering resevoir is right above there.



I think mine leaks a bit.

TTFD, on a side note next time could you title your thread better so it can be found. If someone has a similar problem they can't search and find it if you dont describe the topic in the title. Something along the lines of "oil leak near spark plugs" would be perfect, thanks.

not too sure about rotary on this one but i know on piston engines it can..my brothers had some oil on them when he took apart his engine...

Yes it is very possible...



Granted it shouldnt be a lot, and it wouldnt actually be leaking or shouldnt, but a little sepage around there is VERY VERY possible.



Oil and gas mix and over time especially with a spark plug loose (lower compression) oil can come out there.

i had the same problem but my p/s res was just leaking. it scared the **** out of me.
