Trying to pinpoint the position of my engine within the engine bay in relation to the bottom / crossmember supports, firewall, and side to side clearence. Since I am using aftermarket polyurethane motor mounts (made them) and the single turbo kit I am installing (GT40R) is a "tight" fit, I need to get pretty exact.

Currently, it is a buddies opinion (RMagic) that the engine might be too high based on the oil pan not hanging low enough / enough being seen when viewed front-on from underneath. If anyone has any reference shots or clearence numbers/measurements, help me out.

It's not a big deal to pull the mounts and trim them down to get it to sit lower, but being the engineer, it would be nice to have numbers or guidelines.

Thanks,

Tony

Pictures of the oil pan and the subframe will give better references to how low the oil pan sits. Currently when i look underneath Badog's car i can't see the oil pan. Normally, u should be able to see the oil pan go past the subframe alittle. His is still above the subframe. Thanks!

I'll do ya one better than that. Since my car is on jack stand when I get home tonight I'll try and get time to measure from the oil pan between the motor mounts and where the 10mm bolts are to the top of the subframe. That should give you a pretty accurate idea of high high the engine sits with stock mounts.
