GREAT WORK!!! like I said..you tempting me to pull my motor just to clean it up... LOL

btw.. where did you get the 1/8" of AL? and what did you use to cut it to shape??

Thanks Jay!!

Ok don't laugh but I used a hack saw to cut the aluminum... LMAO. It was the first thing I grabbed and just went with it! I got the aluminum from a local shop... They had it sitting around as scrap... I'll ask where they got it.

If you give me a few days I'd be happy to make you one. I'll just drill the 2 holes to mount the plate and leave the ones for the FPR undrilled... In case you want it lower or higher. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png No charge, just give me an address and a few days. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Thanks!

I did the LIM, waterpump housing, waterpump, and the filler neck. It's actually a paint with ceramic in it. Seems to work great!

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/bigthumb.gif Looks sweet man!! I got a question for you though on the polished intake manifold---did you run into porosity problems with the finished product? I just started mine and did a test patch on a flat area. It shined up real nice, but with several pin holes in the surface. I wasn't expecting a chrome like finish out of a sand casting, but just wondered----I can never tell by the pictures.

Mine is far from perfect. But I'm not finished either... I stopped polishing to start test fitting stuff. It's still a little pitted...
