i think it is the same problem jspecracer7 has talked about. adding fuel around the map blocks where it should not idle will lock it in the right square. snook you dont need to remove the elbow to adjust the air bleed, just use a stubby screwdriver, flat one.

Sup JMS
thanks for your help why did just removing the aws change the idle you think? Ill add some fuel there but Id like to know wtf happened AND bro Ive been doing SO much testing with the blow off valves...I got a stock supra one tonight and im still getting surge...I completely take off the bov and allow for a huge boost leak and still get surge!! I dont get it ive tried everything...all I can think of is that the hole on the stock elbow isnt big enough to let out all the air fast enough and I need a bov with a huge flange and opening more surface area of the flange will allow more volume to flow? **** Im tired of doing all this testing, if I get a nice bov and have it welded to the intercooler pipe and it still surges im gonna be real pissed but it looks like thats whats going to happen. Do some turbos just have this problem? |
the hole is not big enough. get a good bov and mount it on the intercooler pipe with a respectable flange! you sure the block off plate does not leak?
|
the block off plates do not leak im the man!
umm i know it HAS to be the AWS that I removed guys what can I adjust to make up for that? Jason here are my idle numbers in a row from the commander starting with rev limiter 14,000 (joke haha) 8300 really 1050 1100 1260 750 800 950 oh and JMS I think I just got a HKS SS bov like i wanted and I gotta have it welded asap...it can't hurt and I'll leave one stock bov as well you think or no? |
