Guys,

Anyone have any old used pillow ball bushings?? Or is anyone about to change theirs??

I am willing to pay shipping up to $5 for one or two. I'd like to see what I'm getting myself into before I try to change them.

Thanks,

Mark

Mark,

I just replaced mine two months ago and it was pretty easy. I can look and see if I stll have any of the old ones. I also replaced all the other bushings while I was in there repairing some accident damage.

Make sure you have the right tools: heavy duty snap-ring pliers and a

suitable press. I used a portable ball-joint tool and an impact drill to drive it. This allows you to do the job without taking the suspension pieces all the way off and saves a little time and effort.

Get the torque specification from the shop manual for putting things back together.

I'm in Silver Spring, and can drop by to help, if you like.
