Unhappy

Ok I am replacing the stock twins with a good set since mine are leaking. So Since I am taking everything apart I thought I would see about taking the pill out. What is the pill? What does it effect when you take it out? Where is it located? what does it look like? Thanks

The pill (i think there are two?) is in the wastegate line. You dont want to take it out, it will make you boost less.

There is one in each line running to the actuators on the turbos.

Leave them in / alone if you are not having any boost control problems.

The only reason to mess with them is if you are having trouble keeping boost under control. Removing them will result in 7psi unless you have a boost controller in there.

Some people have enlarged the hole in them to help control excessive boost.

Removing the pill comes in handy if you add a FUll 3" exhaust. it'll help with some spiking then.
