I'd leave it the way it is, Edward. I prefer the look with the plate holder to without. It seems like the rex has a goofy "smiley face" with the plate holder removed. Sorry, Ihor

It looks nice with a plate on it but with out I dont know. It's knida hard to find something that I don't like about that car though.

I personally can't stand it. I can't believe mazda made it like that. They should have done something like the corvette c5 where it is reccessed into the bumper and has a clear cover over it. Also, how does it allow more air if you have a plate over it?

Its going back to the body shop to repaint the bumper over the winter and fix a door ding. I got alot of paint chips when I drove to Texas. I'm thinking of having the bumper trimed further up underneather where the plate was to let more air in.
