i got it fitted but i could not get thing that covers the hole in the duct on so i put duct tape over it is that ok?

Should be ok. Mines covered (and I mean covered) in duct tape.

Whats the word on ditching the AST. I have heard + and - things about it, but know one seems to have hard facts on it. More info please.

AST is a good safety measure but not needed



kinda like high boosting with water injection... good safety measure but not needed.
