buy a cheepo ebay one. They work just fine, no difference really, its just a strut bar!

Racing Beat used to make a strut bar like that. I don't remember if my friend had it on his 1st or 2nd gen. I remember helping him install it and then drive it. I think it might have been his 1stgen - street port with carbs. It made a very nice difference.



That type of design tends to stiffen up the upper front geometry more than your typical strut tower bar b/c it actually triangulates the whole upper front suspension. The only problem is that the stress on the part that goes to the firewall can cause that area to rip open - at least it did on his car.



Try posting on the 1st or 2nd gen board and see what kind of info you get.
