I am really confused about my oil temp....does this sound right. I can let my car warm up for about 5-10 min and then drive it around 15min and the temp never goes above 100 deg. Do I have a bad gauge or is this normal?

Thumbs down

I never have monitored my temps before.

Jspec or Dragon could one of you guys post the average running temps from your cars.

IE.. Water/intake/oil..

This may be a topic we can pin .

Ok everyone feel free to post your average running temps.

List the

Water

intake

Oil

which guages your using and any mods that pertain to the info. Such as rads, oil coolers, intercoolers, etc..

I have been using no temp guages other the whats there , basically like if they move you have a problem ...

I will make it a point to get some guages, Defi i suppose.

Vosko your info too please. I know your dying to share some info from those new guages

My water stays between 85-87 celsius depending on how long its been between oil changes. don't know if that makes much sense but thats how it is. Usually 85 though. Thats with a fluidyne

I could have sworn that someone posted that the stock gauge wasn't acurate and you needed an aftermarket one. I remember mine would **** me off because it would fluctuate alot. It would flat line then go back up.

The stock guage has about a 30 degree temp leeway.

Yes if you really want to know when the temps are rising as opposed to

**** your car just overheated then get a good aftermarket guage

water: 83-95c

intake: ??

oil temps: 180 cruising over 40mph, 230+ under 40

guages: power fc coolant, autometer oil temp

mods: mazdacomp radiator

the oil needs air flow to stay cool, turbo timing is bad
