Oil Pressure Gauge

I know that the oil pressure gauge is a problem with a lot of 3rd gen rx7s at idle mine reads 0. is there any way to fix it or should i just get an aftermarket unit?

After building my FD, I was read 0 too. Checked everything and found that the unit was stuffed, so I replaced it with a VDO oil pressure gauge and never looked back.

how much was it?

I've had no problems with it and it cost me $129 AUD (??? USD)

last time I checked.. it was $1USD=$1.5AUD. so $129A=$65U
