Alright..it is starting to reallllyy drive me batty...anyone else have this beside FD3boost?
|
I have this. It levels out when the A/C is on or the parking lights or the fans on 3. Just haven't had the time/funds to figure it all out. It is NOT the clutch switch for me. If only it were....

ours does it for the whole time wont steady but for a few seconds

Revs up and down like you are blipping the throttle?
If so, I would say a vacuum leak or your idle screw is not closed enough. 1.2 K idle is too high. Mine would do the 1 -1.5K bounce then settle around 1.2K after adjusting the idle screw as far as it would go to compensate for a very rich idle (too much fuel pressure from manual FPR). It would also bounce like that if the PCV hose blew off under boost. |
What about the TPS?

It would also bounce like that if the PCV hose blew off under boost. It would take a massive vacuum leak to bleed off that much pressure. You may need to do the whole vacuum hose job. Your problem may be a combination of vacuum leak and solenoid trouble? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif Or intercooler piping cracked? |

You can hear if the PCV valve blew off 6 feet away! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png The idle screw is on the underside of the throttle body. You can adjust your idle from 1.2K down to 800. CHECK FOR LEAKS FIRST!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png |
