do you mean you bought a gauge to see if ther car is running rich/lean?

If so you there should be 3 wires, a red to 12v+, a black to ground, and the wire that goes to the o2 sensor. You have 2 choices for that wire, you can run it through the firewall and connect directly to the o2 wire, or if you look at your ECU there is one connector that has 16 wires. There is 1 solid black wire. tap into that wire, that's the one that comes directly from the o2 sensor

It does take a couple minutes for the O2 sensor to warm up. Did it keep doing it after you've driven for 10 minutes?
