Is This Normal?
#2
Often times my oil pressure needle sits on the peg. Pretty much after the car is warm, it doesn't register. The oil pressure sender is notoriously unreliable. I just did my plugs though and there was no oil around them. Looks like that oil came from somewhere else, possibly drainage from a spill when pouring oil; or from the filter (yellow in that pic) draining during the last oil change.

Mine sits periously close to the bottom as well from time to time. I can even the watch the needle jump around once in a while.
I've actually had no oil in the car(long story), and the needle didn't look like it was doing anything diffirent than normal, as well as my oil light did not even come on.
I have no faith in that gauge.
