I have a '93 which needs some work so...does anyone have any experience converting the sequential turbochargers to non-sequential and still use the stock ECU?
Any problems to be expected? I would still run stock boost rates. Thanks in advance, Jeff |
10 psi sequential is the same as 10 psi non-sequential. As long as you keep it at 10 psi, your fine on the stock ECU.

imo you should keep it sequential, non sequential on the stock ecu is turbo lag city, you wont have any power under 3500-4000 rpms

Problem is it was converted to non-sequential when i bought it. i wouldn't mind going back but i don't know where to even start regarding parts, sensors, etc. i have seen vacuum routing diagrams on the net for a simplified sequential which i believe basically removes the smog stuff. is that a good option?

As above, keep it in the right gear and it wont be laggy !
I run non sequential on the stock ecu with a piggy back and its on full boost by 3000 rpm ! |
