Question

I just bought and installed a set of twins modded for non-sequential. Turbos installed, rats nest removed, solenoids left in place and connected. Everything is capped and the blank-off plates are installed. Starts fine, no boost problems but huge clouds of white smoke from exhaust both at idle and under acceleration. Searched the forum and couldn't find anything helpful. I'm hoping the turbos I've bought aren't blown- has anyone experienced this problem? I need help before the fire department shows up when I start my car...again.

White smoke can either be gas or coolant.

in this case i would say start the car and smell it.

Also check your coolant level.

If your exhaust is sweet smelling then the coolant seal in the turbos is toast.
