i wish it was that simple, but since Im running the stock ECU i dont want to have the check engine lights or the error codes... so I need somthing there to make the car thing i still got all those raspy emission controls =)
You dont have any way to control the air fuel???

Not even a piggy back??

Wow, why worry about non sequential?

I would worry about getting an ecu.

Is non-seq. safe to do with having a cat and not a mid pipe. That's a mod I've never looked too much into. I just thought about getting a high flow cat. What's the pro's and con's to a mid pipe???

Well full benefit is a midpipe. A hi-flow cat is good too, if you want to keep the sound down and not pollute the air.

Midpipe PROS= free flowing exhaust, LOUD as HELL, cooler, less weight

CONS= Need Standalone/piggyback ECU, need to port wastegate, boost creep, boost spikes, LOUD as HELL

Cat PROS = quieter, doesn't pollute...uhm safer boost control.

CONS = all the PROS from midpipe unavailable...

Well you better be able to tune if you want a midpipe. Its the fastest way to blow up your engine if yuo dont make the proper adjustments.

Midpipe also will give you **** load of HP for a bolt-on.

You could go non sequential with a stock cat although anyone serious about having a fast car is gonna use a midpipe.

Do you have to port the waste gate with the non-seq? I thought I remembered reading that but I'm not sure.

Thanks again for all the input! You've been real helpful.

I think I'll go with the high flow cat for now.

Well you need resistors for the stock ECU or any piggy back system ie:PMC(Purple). If you have a PFC then you do not need resistors. Dave do NOT CUT your solenoid plugs off I said to cut the ACV controls off becuase it does not have an effect at all.
