just finished the poor-mans non-sequential mod and i have a quick question. the hose that connects the charge relief valve to the y-pipe has a major split in it and it sits loosly. would this be why im slowly boosting to 6psi?

Fixed the crv hose and it seems to be working now except I'm only boosting to 6psi with a spike to 10psi sometimes. With the sequential setup I was making 10-8-5. Should i start looking for boost leaks?

and if you're already in non sequential.... make sure that it is stuck open and all of the nipples are blocked off

while you are at it... why don't you just do it the proper way? It will cost you less than $50 to do it the right way... and it will work better.

poor mans N/S conversion should be renamed "lazy mans"

Well I finally got it. I thought i screwed up on the conversion because i was only getting 6psi. With sequential I was getting 10-5-6. Now im getting 10-8-10 after i switched back to sequential. Turns out whoever worked on my car before i bought it had switched the pre-control and wastegate solenoid electrical plugs around. Now I dont have to sit there banging my head wondering why my car doesnt work properly. Maybe I'll switch it back to non-seq again so I can get real results.
