Hi all im new to the forum and have been searching for answers to my problem with no luck,

Before christmas i took delivery of 1994 fd3 type r, all was working and it ran as well as can be expected from what im told.

I proceeded to strip everything out of the car for an internal re-paint as i plan to run it as a stripped track car. after the paint job was complete i went about putting it all back together, Fingers crossed i turned the key, "NOTHING"

Charged the battery and the car cranks over, there is fuel as the smell is strong from the exhaust, but NO SPARK ive checked the coils and there is no power getting to them. Ive checked and rechecked all the internal wiring harness and everything seems to be plugged in correctly, HOWEVER the drivers side indicator light on the cluster is going mental and wont turn off unless you unplug the relay, and the digital trip/miles display is not working. And to top it off there is a high pitch noise that starts about 10 secnds from turning the key?

Im gettin frustrated as everything was labled and i cant see anything else that could have changed while it was just sat there!!

Any help would be appreciated please cheers Jim

Got it running again, there was a wire spliced in to the main harness that fed the coils, it was powering a HKS Speed delimiter chip that i removed previous.

still getting the high pitch sound and right hand indicator flashing like crazy on the dash, checked the flasher ecu and nothing seems amiss, everything is plugged in and all me earths are good, any ideas?
