I had my apexi race wastegate set to allow only about 5psi boost while I was breaking my motor in. I adjusted it back up the other day and did a test drive. I was easy in 1st and sencond I pushed a little harder. The psi pegged at 25 almost instantly. When I let off the gas, I heard a pow, maybe the wastegate blowing off. After stopping at the next gas station to adjust the pressure with my dual stage boost controler, I couldn't get any boost. I found a vacc cap blown off the intake penum beside where my boost gauge line is. After reinstalling it, I still have no pressure. I can't find any lines loose, off, or anything. any suggestions. By the way, I'm running an Apexi rx6 single setup with racing wastegate, and stock intercooler for now. Can anybody point me in the direction of what might be wrong. The setup only has about 600-800miles on it.

Thanks

I had the same problem, until I noticed that I was blowing the wastegate off.

I've tried the ic piping, connections around the wastegate, vacc lines around the turbo. The only vacc lines I haven't checked is under the intake penum. Is it possible one of those could have blown off?

I would look at the intercooler you may have blown the plastic tanks off of it or a really big hole in it

yah take that stock i/c out.. check all the hoses, sometimes they will blow a hairline split in them that you can't see.. try and crush the pipes.. i've had the same problem before.

I went through the system again and found part of the intercooler piping blown apart. The pipe was in a bind, so it looked like it was still connected.

I fixed the problem and re-adjusted the boost controler before I blew my motor.

Thanks for the help!
