pineappleracing (rob) told me he made a motor for a client in texas and with the T-78 large streetport they made 400 at the wheels @10psi.

tuned @rx7.com if im not mistaken

if not tuned right nitrous will blow your engine faster than anything else

even with my dual fogger system that i ran 23 fuel and 33 nitrous pills (jetted WAY rich)

i somehow blew my engine using it.

Although i dont think it was 100% up to snuff anyways, but it definately dropped a seal running nitrous.

Actually the AFR's were fine, i was using it the day before and i beat my friends Z06 4 out of 5 times

but the problem was when i got smart and tried to launch on it, and hit full throttle and shut off.

Started back up and it idled horrid

i knew what i did right away.

But i will say, nitrous works awesome, but you cannot have any room for error on it.

i will probobly spray a 50-100 shot when i get done rebuilding and run my holset h1e...

****... tell me how to make 400 rwhp with a t78 at 10 psi and i am game... i only make 330 at 10 psi with my t78 setup... it took me just over 20 psi to make 461....

I too have been contemplating a nitrous setup... probably something small like a 50 or 75 shot on top of 25 psi on my t78... the main reason i want to do this, is because i maxed out my fuel injectors, and really do not want to spend the money on a new fuel rail and injectors, then pay 700 dollars to get the car completely retuned by steve kan... BTW steve i believe runs a nitrous setup on his red car if i remember correctly... I would give gotham racing a call and check what he suggests to do for the setup..

also, if you are familiar with the NRS grey apex seals, they are proven to withstand the abuse of large nitrous shots and are virtually indistructable to anything other than a decent amount of detonation... but then again, they also run around 1200 dollars just for the seals...

Adam

send your motor to pineappleracing .

rob seemed to be pretty sure of that 400@ 10psi. large streetport 3mm seals. T-78 3" open exhaust haltech e6k 1000 primary 1600 secondary.

we will see in about 2000 miles what it dynos.

if your pushing it with the fuel than nos is the wrong way to go.it needs more gas to mix with.so if your running lean it will make it......worse.

get meth and it should help out bringing your fuel needs down. also cool your intake air temps. and if you get nos you will have to retune. anything you do you will have to retune.

but pros suggestion would be better.
