The lower intake manifold is aftermarket, not sure the company name but I will never install one again. They screw up the angle of the oil fill neck, and we had to modify an FC TII one to make it work.
The fuse block is there because the customer is trying to do this on a budget, and when I offered that to him, he didn't want to pay the extra couple hours to move it. We didn't cover it completely so you can still access it easily if you needed to. The gaps will be filled when we fill the gaps around the rest of the setup.

I'd like to ask a dumb question:
How much does v-mounting the radiator/intercooler improve cooling efficiency? Is there some sort of physics principle that proves that this setup is more efficient?
I mean logically it seems like the radiator and intercooler achieve greater surface exposure to air...is it really that much of an improvement?
And where exactly does the oil cooler hang out during this...I've seen one particular FD use two oil coolers, one at each brake inlet duct on the front lip, is this how it's typically done?

It looks very nice but 20hrs is too much for my budget. Will you have it down to a kit form for conversion? I allready have one mounted but with the radiator at 45 degrees. I don't see the A/C condensor in tose pics. How will that be mounted?

The IC core is an A'PEXi twin core. Pretty effecient core. Not sure why you don't like it. They aren't cheap It was from his FMIC kit.
As for how these setups work...very well. In Las Vegas for the D1GP they had a couple weeks back, it was 125F in the shade and over 150F on the track, and Calvin Wan drove his FD with this setup for 2 hrs straight on the track for practice, and we didn't cool down the car once. No overheating problems. It basically forces all the air in through the front of the nose through either the IC or the radiator. The oil cooler(s) are in their stock locations on the sides behind the ducts just below the turn signals.
It wouldn't be that much if we had a blank core to start out with. We ended up modifying that core since it was fron a FMIC kit. Due to the differences in peoples brand of radiator, IC etc, we really can't offer this as a kit. There is no A/C in this car.

Dave, have you guys thought about adding a seperator between IC and the rad.?
I had conversation with someone back in 03 with a guy who was demoing RE's V mount and I think an air seperator between rad and IC will help out even more. I know HKS does this.
Other than that, I think its looks perfect I like the side blocking plates (which RE version missed).
