Only thing I don't like is the fact that the lower part of the bumper is FG. (Or is it?) I like the OEM R1 lip... cause I can't seem to break it. Your car is ******* tits man!

You can get the replica from our sponsors rotary extreme.

FikseRxSeven 02-06-2003 11:01 PM

isnt that the same color of the 99 acura cl's?

rx7machine 02-06-2003 11:08 PM

Look's good.. Damn.. that pic makes me want that scoot hood again..

FikseRxSeven 02-06-2003 11:21 PM

for some odd reason, i only find the scoot hood attractive when its carbon fiber

ROTARYROCKET7 02-06-2003 11:33 PM

That car loooks hot get it featured in a mag dude .. IT ROCKZZZ

rx7machine 02-06-2003 11:44 PM

FikseRxSeven 02-06-2003 11:46 PM

FikseRxSeven 02-06-2003 11:50 PM

plus i think you're right......... cb wouldnt look right on a black car

rotaryextreme 02-08-2003 05:41 PM

Yup. both the bumper and the hood are from Rotary Extreme. This is a classic example of a very nice bodyshop that knows what they are doing. The car is amazing in my opinion.

Rotary Extreme is the only place that makes the FEED type II bumper replica. All the other places just carry the ones I am making. Should we do a group buy on it?? What do you think?? I am turning myself into a group buy ***** recently but I can't help it!

r_xplicit 02-08-2003 08:46 PM

hell yeah..

as far as my view is on that hood, i am a little sketchy about it....

i saw the one that was on eric's car in st. louis and thought that the fins on it were very thin and looked brittle. there is no doubt though, that the look is great, i just do not think that the hood itself provides any structural rigidity.....but....then again, how much rigidity does a hood offer in the first place...

The dilemma is that if you want to have a light weight hood, you will have to make it thinner unless you make it by vacuum. The vent does not really need to be very rigid, the rest of the hood is rigid. I have tested it out at 170+mph and it's still on car, and it's for sale too (the only full carbon fiber one available). =)

The hood serves its purpose: light weight (14lbs), good venting, good looking (to some people, like me), and definitely gets a lot of ATTENTION. If you have spent 1000+ for a hood, that's definitely something you don't want to miss right?

r_xplicit 02-09-2003 09:42 AM

^^yeah, i understand what you are saying and defiantely would never take anything away from what you guys are doin over there, cause yer productas are very nice looking. i was just saying that on the guys car that i saw in person, 2 or 3 of the vent louvres on one of the sides were cracked, and looked like they were not going to last. however, i do know that it had something to do with the hood prop and what not......

i want a hood, but i can not decide on which one. i have been i this dilemma for some time now, and just like the 2 front ends that i am torn over, i can not decide, and one day, i will spend this money that is burning a hole in my pocket....

Fd3BOOST 02-09-2003 11:30 AM

What kinda prices could you give on the bumpers if we had 10 buyers?

r_xplicit 02-09-2003 11:42 AM

wasn't there a GB on that hood "across the street"? i thought that it went for like 1200 & 1400 for the FRP and the CF versions respectively....however, i think that chuck would be the best person to answer that one...

Yeah, group buy for the Scoot replica hood was over like 1 year ago. I am sorry man. Right now I am doing the group buy on the RE Amemiya AD hood 9 replica. Most people say they like the AD hood 9 better but so far I only got 2 orders on the group buy. Anyone else is interested?

You guys have to watch out those companies that are not able to provide the pictures of their product. They are using the pictures from FEED to sell thier replica. I show pictures of my products on customer cars to show fitment. I have not only pictures of the product but also pictures of the mold.

I personally do not know anyone who has purchased the Extreme Dimesion FEED type II replica. Anyone wants to try to order one and tell us how it fits and stuff??
