I second the vote for the stockignition and the twin power. First of all the RX-7 has a good factory ignition and good coils. Second, the twinpower helps, & third, you will have the twinpower installed in 10 minutes.

Was tuned without with an AFR of 10.1 to 10.3...adding the TP after tuning leaned me out to 11.5 on the top end. I couldn't be happier. Also switched to running 9s all around so no more fukin $45 a piece race plugs.

here's my second run with the TP and water injection.

You can buy one HKS Twinpower and hope the rest of your at least ten year old ignition holds up, or for the same cost- replace it with the MSD setup- which works better than the twinpower. This is not hearsay- I have owned both of them. I love the simplicity of the HKS, but the reliability of a whole new ignition system (with more HP and Torque gains) won me over. Good luck either way-

I can't find a thread on how to install the damn thing. I have the unit on the way but no instructions. Can you post something, or at least a link.

MSD 6A. I decided to go with that one rather then 6al. I don't need a limiter.

The number to MSD's tech line is 1-915-855-7123. They will fax a wiring diagram directly to you.

Ok, so, get stock ignition, and power ignition amp.

If I want some kind of rev limiter, what do I do then ?
