Not trying to bash the 7 but if this is going to be your daily driver and you want that much speed get a 300zx tt. Their are alot of really fast ones where I live that are all daily driven. Parts are cheaper and incase you don't know too much about engines it has a V6. Easy enough. But please god dont waste money on a Vr-4!!

i'm in xenia,

ok it might help you guys help me if i told you how much i was gonna spend 14,000 to blow right now and another 4-5,000 in about 5 months

so what do you think i should do. because i'm also completely vehicle less right now which sucks. and i have no clue how long it would take them to rebuild and what not.

and another ? what kinda times would 450hp get me on the track and what are the top speeds of the 7 i know there a 5speed so stock would it be about 130-140mph or more than that
you can buy a good condition one for anywhere from $11k-$20+k (it varies mainly by the sellers choice...no real set standards)

i was suggesting the blown engine one so you can send it to get rebuilt and ported and probably not worry about it again for a while.

If you by a fully functional one it's def. gonna cost a lot more to get it up to 450hp because youll pay more for the car.

with 450hp at the wheels in a ~2800lb car (which you can make even lighter if you want) you're looking at low 11's high 10's probably, my best guesstimate, along with 120+mph trap speeds, it all depends on if you know how to drive such a car.

Oh and also for a 450hp car (any car) plan on buying a new race-spec clutch and probably set aside some loot for a new trans, and probably funds to get a beefier lsd diff.

Dirty, looks like you and I have the same goals in mind for the '7. I am doing what teknic's is suggesting to you, get a 7 with a blown motor. (i am trying to find one's who's owner blew the apex seals or just toasted the damn thing) because I know ill have to yank the motor and build it up correctly regardless, id rather not pay more for a 7 that works only to yank the motor but have paid extra $$$ ahead of time, id rather save the money on a blown motor 7 and rebuild it from there. Hey teknic's whats BNR's website?

damnit damnit damnit, i want a 7 but my true worries are getting one and either it blows or i'm stuck somewere with it not starting back up.

i know how to work on 4 banger v-6 and v-8's but i know **** on rotary and i doubt there are any good tuners in ohio. i just have kinda shitty luck but i have money to sorda blow with the age factor. and ican honestly say i have never seen a sexy 300zx tt they look kinda ugly. but i dont think i have ever seen the bodykits. and i absolutely dont want to go back to force inducted civics, eclipses and integras everyone has them and most people have them but no mods just exhaust tip and big aluminum wing and stickers out the azz. uh man i just dont know what to do.

wannabe-rotary: BNR Supercars

Don't just order it e-mail Bryan (the owner) and talk to him about exactly what your goals are, he can hook you up with the right stuff, I talked with him for a bunch of days in a row before i finally knew what i was gonna do, how big i'd go etc etc.
