Man for $5500 bucks you cant shake a stick at that deal. I would be on that like white on rice. Even a rebuild replacing everypart it's still a deal.

I would bet that the engine parts are probably in good shape you would just need the seals and the gaskets.

Get pics if you go see it.

Yeah, I just need to check with everything to make sure I got this all covered... and make sure I can handle the financial slowdown it will bring... Wish I had a rich girlfriend..

also run a carfax on the VIN, if it's been in accidents it would up your insurance, which is another thing you might want to look into before buying the car.

And yea a reman can be had relatively cheaply, you'd prolly wind up spending under $8k for it and have a good running car, and $8k for an FD is a steal! (yes i know youd buy it for $5.5k but i added in possible work and a new engine)

Yeah I got the whole 8K thing.. Thats exactly what I was thinking.. I will be keeping in touch with my buddy at the shop cuz it's his friend selling it.. once I go check it out and I see the engine parts and get the vin, I will post up and see who has a carfax account.. I guess Now I just have to wait for my $$$ and some free time to go see that sucker..

Thanx alot guys.. hopefully it is worthy of buying...

OK, I am now looking for a place to give me a loan, I have a few credit cards, and all are run up, so I wanna get a loan to pay them off, and maybe add a couple extra grand in there for the engine..? what do you guys think?
