N1 Dual
#1
I have the Apexi N1 dual and was wondering if anyone here has it with the silencers. I wonder if they would give the car a lower note as well as making it quieter. Also do you lose power when you add the silencers?

You don't want a silencer. I am getting a midpipe put on with a borla welded in and it is gonna be loud..
My n1 dual is my friend.
I like it. :bigok:

No ****? You mean at the opening for the midpipe end right?
Hmm How much difference was there?
I hate to lose my twin pipes.
What do you guys think of HKS cat backs?
I heard one once on a Supra and it sounded nasty loud and raspy.. I loved it.

That would be the one Dave! The HKS will give you a lawnmower sound, especially if it's a canister style. It's VERY hard to get an FD to sound good.
It appears to only be a 2 1/2 inch inlet from the midpipe. Your midpipe should be a 3" and your frontpipe should be a 3". That would suck to lose horsepower because of a muffler
I think that mike(j9fd3s) said that it made a world of difference when he went to 3" exhaust. I actually never put the apexi on because it looked so restrictive...
