Wow man every time I see a car from new england area or up north I feel sorry for you guys that must deal with salted roads. Cars from the south (all their lil car lives) don't normally have that kind of corrosion on bolts etc. Good work bringing another FD back from the brink, bro.

Yep corrosion is pretty serious out here if your car is sitting outside at all for a long period of time. Now that shes near me i'll be working on her alot to clean her up. I dont care if it takes me another 3years to finish my car, its another 3years spent well doing everything right. Emissions, I know a few spots who just get me thru... What a difference in forums I posted the same exact post on the rx7club forum and it seems like I have alot of skepticism and negatives replying to my post. Kinda makes me laugh and feel as if some guy in a bar is looking at the female i'm with and wishing they were with her.. Makes me feel real good about what I own and enjoy working on.

Thanx for the feedback. http://rx7r2.cjb.net/ I resized the pictures nice and easy to view now. Remember AOL users use "IE" to view my website AOL's web browser blocks cjb.net websites from being viewed..

Info for anyone that is following my project. Well today I found out what exactly is up with my front end. The first body shop who I had delt with last year basically hacked up my FD. The same body shop also gave me the run around for just about a year about missing parts, slow responces from mazda and all types of crap. So today the news comes in.After talking to Abe from Mid Valley Collision out in Long Island over the phone he basically told me what was wrong. So I took the trip out to Long Island and met up with my boy 'RX794' and went into the shop together since he's is the one who told me about this bodyshop. Abe told us the chassis is off by 1inch by where the front subframe rear bolt attaches to the chassis. So with that said now the work begins. Abe will be pulling and repairing the 'F*ck-ups' the first bodyshop did to my poor hacked up chasis. Adding on 1.4k to the cost for my FD project.

For anyone uneducated as I was in the bodyshop world of cars. Talk to as many people as you can about getting any type of body work done. I've been hammered with the slow down of the process of my project and also mislead into believeing the job was done right the first time. I dont mind paying money at all on my FD is just hurts to know that people will mislead you and just take your money even if someone they know referred you to them. Well its all a learning process for me since this is my first real deal project car. If I knew then what I know now it would have been a totally different story.

Basic signs would of told me not to even step fot inside the previous bodyshop I delt with.

Signs: Cramped space for work, dirty unswept unorganized shop, painting cars in a dusty environment and sloppy looking people working in the shop.

The shop I went to today reminded me of Orange County Choppers shop. Just for the simple fact that everything was in order, clean and onpoint. So this week my car will have all the correct adjustments made so hopefully everything will align perfect and cleaner.

Thanx Josi "RX794" for helping me out I really appreciate it..

P.S A few pictures will be added from todays trip to the bodyshop.
