It depends on the offsets. What sizes did Racing Beat use?

vosko 06-27-2002 08:24 PM

it only came with two blown tires on the rear. 255/40/17

offset is +35

Running 255's all around would make the car handle better than with staggered sizes. Staggered sizes usually induce understeer.

225/40/18 up front, 275/35/18 out back.

Well, maybe in a straight line, but having the same size all around helps make the handling more neutral. 255's up front and 275's out back wouldn't be too staggered.

i can't run 255's up front. biggest i can go is 245 i believe. i still think i want 245/40 and 275/40 https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
