my fd3s still wont turn on

I went back and read one of your other threads and tried to learn a little history about your car. Sounds like it's been a long time since it's been running. You're getting the engine to turn over with the starter but it's not starting, right?
Have you had the plugs out of it yet? Usually, trying unsuccessfully to start a rotary will result in a flooded condition. You basically want to pull the plugs and crank the engine over a few times with the fuel injection fuse pulled so it doesn't get any more fuel. Check the plugs also and note if they're wet, dry or whatever. Clean plugs, or even better--new plugs, may help a lot.
When I got my T2 many years ago, it wasn't running either. All I did was drain the old fuel, put new plugs and a battery in it, and unflood it. it's still going strong.
Keep trying, and good luck!

If you tried everything from the previous post and no luck, check the fuses and the relays. If the car has been stored outside in the rain, you could have moisture short out a connection and blow a fuse or relay. I had an electrical connection issue recently that shut me down. I found the problem, dried the connection, sealed it with silicone sealant, replaced the blown fuse and we are up and running again.
Does the check engine light come on when you turn the key? Can you hear the fuel pump when you jump the diagnostic port? Are the spark plug wires connected properly?
Regards,
Jeff

so i have really good and bad news i got the car to start and alot of white smoke came out the motor was on for a few seconds then it shut off but every time i started to turn the key it would start and shut off quickly and i removed the battery and know it wont start not even the starter would turn but all the light and every thing else works am thinking its a ground but don't know were it is and were it goes. and when the motor started it made a clacking sound. neeed help please

Besides the ground it could also be the clutch cutout switch. Underneath your dash on the clutch pedal you'll see a metal box. Unhook the harness on that box and jump the two terminals with a paperclip. If it will let you start the car after that then your cutout has gone bad. As for the clunking, did it do that or make any other odd noises when you turned the engine by hand, or only once you ran it?
