Mazdaspeed Seats

I was referring to jspecracer7's comment that the seats you want are probably heavier than the stockers. Rice would be you buying the seats in the first place. You'll fit in nicely with those other guys around town with those seats.

Lol, bling. You're probably right. However, even having an FD out here is something special. Between my 4 closest friends, we've seen 2. We have an over abundance of SA and FC but no FD. So! Whatever I decide, I'll already have something others don't (around here) and the seats say in BIG BOLD letters "Mazdaspeed" (something about me and wanting to show off mazdas and rotaries as much as possible.) Anyway, I'll go ahead and get the seats and if you guys want it, I'll let you know what I think with an unbiased opinion.

Didn't get the seats but I decided not to get them. Mostly because I found other seats that can come in red leather and weigh only about 12 pounds. http://statusracing.com

I love those Mazdaspeed seats. If I had to replace mine, i'd get the white ones. I don't see how they would be heavier but they do look as comfotable in not more and they have the racing harness holes in them.

Comfort's a big issue with me too. I'll have 5 or 6 points installed and I don't want to be forced straight down through the padding. The Status racing seats (Lagunas I have picked out) come with "memory foam" for the padding. (Memory foam is the stuff all of the 'high tech' beds are being made out of and is extremely comfortable.) Another thing was that I wanted something others don't have, and all of the ricers who have their Sparcos, Momos, and even a couple have Recaros don't even know about Status. (Let me clarify: I am NOT in any way saying Sparco, Momo, or Recaros are rice, I'm saying ricers in my neighborhood have them.)

I dont know if there's enough memory foam to remember the contours of all of my fat ***.
