I just picked up a new exhaust manifold and I noticed on the inside just to the rear of the flapper door a extruding tube is slightly chipped up.



Here is the pic....







It's a little jagged around the edge and just wanted to make sure thats normal wear for this part.



Any info would help Thanks!

Looks like the flapper hit it. It's not going to make any difference. I wouldn't sweat it.

its for egr, and it melts, its no biggie, it can melt totally and make **** all of difference
