yeah something blew off, werent you running like 20psi on the stock twins/intercooler?

maybe a intercooler tank started coming off...

being speed/density vacuum leaks don't do anything really...

if the leak is after the throttle it will just make the idle high.... speed/density doesnt care where the air comes from, theres no flow meter... as long as it's not the MAP sensor line that blows off.

can you help me sometime this weekend? the leak ONLY effects the boost, not the idle. i blew a vac line before and it made my car run like total ****. when i hit boost i build almost nothing and i hear a hissing noise. aka, boost is leaking from somewhere..

i wasnt running 20psi on stock twins though, i lowered the boost to 11psi for daily driving, to race or whatever ive never seen higher than 16psi.

have you checked the rubber coupler between the intake pipe and y-pipe? my car did the exact same thing when mine was split.

I don't have time right now... car is nearing drivable state and I want to spend as much time as possible on it, the other day it started for the first time on the E6K and now I'm doing some no-load tuning and finishing up the interior wiring modifications... theres a long list of **** that needs to get done.

maybe shap can help you out, but he might be at the track with his f4i for the weekend, I don't remember.

oh yeah hes doing the road course thing. i dont know how in ell to test this stuff to see if its leaking boost because at 0-1psi everything seems fine, but with a greater load of like 10+psi is when i would be able to hear something wrong.

the couplers are fine on the car, when i push the throttle cable everything expands as normal as it always did. and no hissing noises. its definitlly something from the turbo going to the engine but im not sure exactly what it is yet.

thats good your car is finally running how it should, i heard your goals from shap, and im sure its possible.

if i were u id check all intercooler piping connectors. if they get old they start to get brittle and cracks may form in them. pick up some siliconed if thats the problem

Mike, just a question, how come you are making only 319.9rwhp at 14psi with all those mods?! You are capable of a LOT more...
