my car ran perfectly for a long while (why i wasn't asking questions anymore) but now once i did an oil change, i lost all boost..

while i drive when i hear the turbos building boost i hear a hissing noise but no extra power delivery. my boost guage is reading somewhat correct boost (a little lower sence it is going out somewhere, about 5-8psi) by that reading i figure it is leaking from something small. I pulled apart most everything by the uim, including the uim and found nothing disconnected.

i've had a vacuum leak before (cap on the bottom of the uim flew off) and that made my car run like ***. The car runs PERFECTLY except for no boost. im leaning towards the actuator behind the uim or something like that. someone please help, i dont feel like bringing the car in to get fixed

Check the large 1/4 black hose that connects the charge relief vavle to the y pipe and also... Do you have the metal or paper gasket between the UIM and LIM?

i checked that hose last night when i tore down the car for the frist time. it was loose but it wasnt off, i put it back on and clamped it but it didnt solve the problem. the gasket is metal on mine and is in excellent condition.

when i stab the throttle cable and the car goes near 0-2psi i feel warm air hitting my hand near by where the throttle cable connects to the uim... im not sure if this is perfectly normal but it seems there is a leak somewhere..

you mean the plastic thing with two hoses connected to it that sits behind the alternator? if so, it SEEMS fine..

as for the map sensor, wont my car run like *** if its not plugged in right? it runs FINE but with a boost leak.. from what ive seen, everything seems to be plugged up correctly...

There is a second vacum tank near the Power steering and A/C.

Check that one too.

It would be broken on a seam.
