dont do a burnout unless your using slicks or DR's. people at the track will laugh at you. lol

Bobby I still don't have a proper shifting car. That rebuilt tranny was an improvement but the damn thing still is incredibly hard to row through the gears. Fast shifts ain't gonna happen until I get it solved.



I'm planning on a new ecu in September, AEM, and maybe a large stock mount so by mid to late September I will be running again, assuming I can get the tranny issue resolved.

Nope. That was my thought. Brand new motor mounts. I think the problem resides in the shifter or the wave washers or bushings. It's as if the plastic bushing at the bottom of the shifter were broken - but it's not.



You fractrure your wrist trying for a fast shift & powershifting is out of the question.

coming out the gates at AutoX, I rev to ~4k-4.5k drop the clutch (sprung 6-puck) and the tires (Pzero Corsa's) light up and the back end squats, and slides a little to the slide...then I'm haulin' *** from there!!

I have used tom's method and did ok. It all really comes down to the burn out and launch! shifting is the easy part.
