so, i decided to drain my radiator and make sure that i have a proper mixture of coolant in there since it is expected to freeze overnight.



the plug came off pretty easily, and as i was reinstalling it, i couldnt seem to get the plug to screw in straight so once i finally got it to thread, i used a screw driver to get the threads deeper, and the top head bbroke!!! cheap plastic peice of ****!!!





anyways... what are my options?



from my understanding its the same plug as the stock one.



with that said... can anyone lend me a plug please!!!

 

Same thing happened to me. Get some thread tape and a short 14mm bolt to thread into it. Screw it down, but DO NOT over tighten it. That's all I did and it has worked for a few years never any leakage.

Yep before the Army I used to work at a radiator shop, thats what we did for quick fixes and works very well. Although I do recommend not using it as the permanent solution.

 

happened to me too...ended up putting some jb weld on it.
