Keys Locked In Car

WTF?
Are you serious??
I can only see that causing more damage to the latching and hinges than good that can come out of that?!?!
The doors seem to be on the car pretty well...so I can't see that working.
Do you honsestly think kicking the door is the best idea?

This had me thinking.
couldnt you reach under the car and pull out the spark plug wires and the engine would die while you solve the problem?

My door won't open...I wish Srce was there right then, he does this at work all the time (probably without breaking the doors).
C'mon fellas, I need some more thinking outside the box on how to get my door open!
I pulled the lock "housing" part off and could get the ouside handle/panel off, and I fiddled with the rods and such trying to mimick what the lock/door handle would do but, no dice...anyone know how these rods operate? which way to push/pull/order...try this, try that...anything could help. I've only had a little time to work on it, but what I was trying didn't look promising

don't feel stupid cause i've done this, but luckily when i locked myself out, the moonroof was open a little. So i borrowed my ex's "the club" and opened the moon roof all the way then unlocked the door from the top.

LOL, get a coat hanger, just keep trying. For some strange reason, I always do it on the passanger side doors, and it always works better.
I've tried to mimick both (using the rods), make the door unlocked and then push the handle rod so the door should open...nothing
I believe something might be bent down there??? I can't really turn the key in the fully unlocked position...gives resistance, the inside door lock seems stubburn too, like it can't move what it needs to be moving.
