Can you guys (in Japan preferably) list all the differences in JDM FD's and USDM FD's? Please avoid the obvious, obvious = RHD LOL!!!

What years? Not much of a difference between then in say like

93-95 US verse Japan

Back Seats

Guages all KILO

Im sure the mirrors, Glass, and doors have a slightly higher rating then Japan

BUT of what I have seen and heard, those are the only differences in those years

Now if you want to move to the type IV then your talking more difference type IV would be the 96 like mine,

16-bit ECU

A/C Fan controls different

Gauges different (green Vise amber)

I think we all have Oil pressure in all years till 99? Then they went to boost?

Round tail lamps

ABS Upgrade

Wheel upgrades

Brake Upgrades

Front lip a little different

Thats all I cant think of, Im not of course 100% on this, but I would say they are good estimates, there maybe somethings im looking over

what i want to know is why do the 99 spec turbo generate more hp? what is different? i have a 93, with 50k on the originals, and have heard that 99 spec is a good option, vs BNR.

looks like there is some good info if you can find it. But some typos.

for example, "Turbos changed exhaust wheels smaller 51mm to 51mm".

so if the change for 99 was a smaller exhaust wheels, did this create more lag, to get more HP, did they run at a higher boost?

Really trying to figure how 99 turbos generate more HP>

Basically, the 99 turbos were created more effeciently so that they boost the same, but have to work less...creating more HP(I think:P)

Turbos changed exhaust wheels smaller 51mm to 51mm

Compressor abraidable seals added

Boost up 0.62 > 0.74 bar

i think this is the important part. seems like they made the compressor wheel bigger by using the same size exhuast wheel. made it a little bit more effeicent and runs at the same boost level....so higher boost will yield more power...also kinda like how a 10 psi stock setup makes less power than a 10 psi single setup...more air!
