Its A Mofo To Start The Car When Its Really Cold

What is the official word on the cause of this? Its been snowing here and very cold. After the car sits a night in this weather its take a few lengthy cranks before it finally turns over.

alot of has to do with the battery not having full power when its SUPER COLD... another thing is no engine likes super cold weather lol

well your either too rich or too lean. in the haltech you have 2 things that control the starting, the coolant correction map, and the 0 rpm map.

Yeah its take me a couple of seconds longer in the winter. i hate when it drops below 60

I've played with those before but with no luck. I need to look at some other maps and see what everone else is doing.

yah it takes awhile of sitting there starting the car, mines not done either, it does the same thing
