yeah i went to that sight and just did some online stuff. i could also not get it to be approved unless i did it as an "exotic" there definition of an exotic was pretty much a low production car. I am checking out a few other avenues also. As for the neihbors the couple had just walked throught there like five or ten seconds before, very scary but they are alright. all in all i belive in the propertys surrounding my house five big trees like that fell and three hit houses.

a buddy of mine has his car parts insured through his home owner's insurance. i'm not 100% sure on the details, but it's basically property insurance. he's got more money in parts and labor than my house is even worth....

I am an agent for Farmers. you can show modifications, stereo, and such and have an appraisal. Then you will have a higher number than 8000, which seems low to me. Do not expect low rates on this approach.

I dont have many mods I have a power fc and comander, full RB exhaust and an intake. Other than that it it is just a LOW mile R1, that is in fantastic shape. I am the third owner, all other owners garge kept this car and never drove it in the rain. SO i don have a "list" of parts that i can say see this is what i have into the car, and that is what this stuff is worth. I am going off the four years I activly spent looking at FD's and know that you are going to pay more for a car that is an r1(which they could not account for), that is in great shape for such an old car, and has very low miles, much like you would pay for a highly modded car.

I've talked to my agent last year about this and she clearified to me that if some tree fell on the house and damaged my cars, it would be covered under the home insurance. At this point, I don't think your auto insurance will be involved.

Also, when you replace your car thru auto insurance, I believe they have to replace it with similiar condition. Ie, cars in your area with similar miles and condition (which will bring in higher retail value). I'm not an agent so i could be completely wrong about this.. But my EX when she totalled her FC convertible back in 2000, she went thru this process. Finally after many many phone calls and research, she got what she deserved.. But you know those insurance agents (she had state farm), they what to give you as little as possible.. no offense rotaryinspired.

a policy for anything for any value you chose. It's just a matter of how much you can afford.
