the resolution of the pfc is not as good as some of the other ECU's around, plus you're trusting a wiring harness that is at least 14 years old that was made cheap by mazda in an extremely hot engine bay. looks like you've moved around the wiring harness in the engine bay in your car, and i can almost guarantee you that you will have a few unexplained electrical problems from that.

well drag kit is just one thing, i think thats just the replacement of the toe links and control arms, you can probably find the set cheaper somewehre. i suggest finding someone that can get you a set of hks hyperdrags. i dunno if its safe to go with 18x10.5 without flaring or wide body kit. Im running 17x10 with 285's and im about 1/4" away from the control arms and was barely clearing the wheel wells(thats why if you look at my car's pic really close the rear fenders are flared out)

those are 17's!?!? wow....i thought they were 18's. what profile are you using? and spring set up?

i wanted 17's for the lighter weight. but i thought it would look to small.

and maybe 10.5 is a little to big. but it all depend on the offset of the rim. i just want good traction at the launch. im still researching on it.

oh and im not sure what you meant by "the resolution of the pfc is not as good as some of the other ECU's"

im no tuner. what do you mean by resolution???

FikseRxSeven 02-25-2007 09:09 PM

285/40/17 rear and 235/45/17 up front, apexi evx coilovers.

higher resolution meaning that each plot on the map covers a smaller range of rpm and vaccuum/boost, so in a range of 8000rpm and -16psi to top boost, you have more positions to tune.

sen2two 02-25-2007 09:25 PM

whats the RPM break between each tunable point? like, every 100rpm, 200rpm, 500rpm?????

FikseRxSeven 02-25-2007 09:46 PM

yeah.... but not just rpm, also the absolute pressure
