Thanks for that info... But there are infact 2 different models of turbos available (99-02).. Ones I think Gotham is trying to sell is the "280HP" twins with the special seals.

Gotham just made up the name and called it , "efini". But as I said before, the term "efini" means Mazda RX7... This is a common mistake as most people thought 99+ turbos meant automatically 280HP model.. its not true.

280 HP twins are little special, but not much better than the ones we have. A good set of US spec FD twins will make close to what the 280s will. 280s might spool faster but it might run out sooner as compressor wheels are smaller..

Who knows.. I've always wanted a set of 280 stock twins but I never got one.. Also, BNR twins seems to do pretty well and have been proven to break 400RWHP pretty easily.

gotham has a good deal check out there stage 3 fuel system. includes modded primary housing and aftermarket secondary fuel rail. 850 prim's and 1600 sec's. nippondenso fp. I got this so I could run more boost or upgrade to a bigger turbo in the future. Trash the stockies if you are trying to get that kind of power, remember you want to run your inj. duty cycle at most 85%. You don't have to get that just to give you an idea. I have a gr-67 single turbo with that setup and the aid of an aeromotive fpr running 14lbs. and runs excellent, my map is a little rich but i'd rather give the engine a little more than a little less. I would deff. recommend the BNR's if you want to stick with a twin setup, they are more durable, better protection if you blow a seal and more blades on the turbine. I'm sure you could break 400 but I would rephrase that being"pretty easy"OR you could just get a single KIT for a little more $ and a few more mods and easily break 400,dep. on size, looks cleaner too IMO. Good luck with whatever you choose and happy holidays!
