Look into the Pettit TKT package. It includes Cat-back, pullies, intake and adds 60hp to stock performance. My last car had that plus the boost was set at 10psi and it was pretty quick. With you FMIC you can turn the boost to about 11psi and see more Hp of course!

You have whats needed as of right now to reach your goals. Goodluck!

My Name is Dave.

I've have no experieince running that high of boost levels.

But some guys that I know do. And Like I said it is done on a standard street ported engine with stock 2mm apex seals.

I know that first off the stock tiwns wont do it.

Your gonna need injectors/fuel pump/turbo/haltec or Tec III ecu/ boost control and the rest of the standard bolt ons obvioulsy.

Other than that I would talk to some of the guys in the single turbo forum. They might be more helpfull than i can be.

Like I said I have no experience with that stuff. I only know what I have done with my car. I've nevr ran more than 16psi.

Good luck

hi again its me fas, well i am new in the rotary business so please bare with me, i am looking for poer in the range od 320 to 340 rwp, so please tell me the basic mods i need to do to reach that much power, i have the following items with me but i have not installed them as yet, i hae a AVC-R, 255 Lph intank pump, FMIC and SAFC, would any of these help me reach near my goal and secondanly should i go for the Apexi poer commander or the HKS FCon please advice.

thanks
My car should be generating 340-360 rwhp. (Im not dyno or track proven so take it for what its worth)

My set up is a street ported engine(that includes exhaust ports) 99 turbos, Purple Box PMC, Walbrow fuel pump, full exhaust,

large IC, Turbo smart manual boost controller.

There are a **** load more mods that seem unimportant to this topic such as large Rad, non sequential, air pump removal, ast removal, so on and so forth....

I am basing my assumption of HP off my buddy Rikkis old car that was dynoed at 348 to the wheels on 11psi.

I have the same set up except my turbos are newer and a few other mods that again seem unimportant.

320 rwhp, is about 12-13psi on the stock twins with dp, cat back, ic and intake, isnt it?

Uncorrected I'd guess... Sounds close.

get a m2 stage 3 ecu. or pettit tuned for catback, downpipe, intercooler and intake. they say u cant run a midpipe but u coudl and will still be rich enouf, the pump will help u too sinc eu will most likely see higher pressure in the fuel rail. and with abotu 14 psi u will see that much power, just make sure to dyno it after u put everything on to make sure the afrs look good. and stock twins CAN do that much power

Get rid of the S-AFC. It will keep the mixture rich, BUT it is practically untuneable AND you will hit fuel cut much sooner

Sell it to someone with an FC

listen to everyone else...sell the Safc and AVCR and get a used Pettit upgraded ecu with the unlimited chip and some manual boost controllers. You'll be much better off that way and should break even on the money.

A Pettit ecu, intake, full exhaust, with healthy engine/turbos with everything else stock at 12psi should get you around 315-320rwhp and land you in the mid 12's on drag radials. From there upgrade IC and you can run 13psi. From there upgrade the fuel pump and secondary injectors and you can turn it up past 13psi (like up to 14psi). That should get you around 350-360rwhp but you'll prob need an ignition amp. I'd get a MSD6a on the leading coils, you can get them for $150 or cheaper on Ebay. Run some heat range 9 or 10 plugs.

Personally I'd run a Power FC instead of a Pettit ecu but your looking for cheap. One thing your going to realize now that you own a RX7 is its not the kind of car you should go cheap with. You really should get a Power FC if you want to run more than 13psi. The Pettit ecu caps you off at 14.5psi of boost but the PFC is good up to about 18psi which more than you should be running on the stock twins anyway. Most people agree that 15psi is about the safe max on the twins. Thats enough to get you into the 11's though.

Also, everytime you change something you need to check it out on the dyno and make sure your a/f ratio past 4500rpms is in the 11's
